What We Believe
Higher Ground provides support and fellowship to Christian men trying to live out a traditional, Biblical, sexual ethic in a world where that feels increasingly more difficult. Higher Ground is not focused on offering a “cure” or “quick fix” to the experience of same-sex attraction, but instead a community and resources to support men as they more deeply engage with Jesus Christ.

The Men of Higher Ground
Higher Ground is composed of men from different backgrounds with various life experiences united by their Christian faith. Participants are encouraged to share their own stories: long-term same-sex relationships, being “closeted,” the gay party scene, etc.
Everyone’s history is welcomed!
A defining strength of our ministry is the range of personalities and perspectives represented. Most newcomers are surprised by the warmth and authenticity of the men they meet. This inspires members to build meaningful friendships with healthy men in their own lives.
Weekly Group
Our members meet online weekly and once a month in person to support each other in living out holy sexuality. We start with a worship song, then read and discuss a devotional prepared by one of the group leaders.
For the last portion of the meeting, we split up into breakout groups of 2-3 to share our life updates and offer prayer requests.
